- Dear Stacy,Could you send me by email the text displayed in the Command Window after the installation?XMapTools has not yet been tested with this version of MATLAB it will be done soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.Best,PierreDear Stacy,I’ve now tested XMapTools 2.4.2 using MATLAB R2017b on a MacBook pro with OSX 10.11.6 and the software works fine. I don’t get any error and all the functionalities seem to behave normally.I suspect your MATLAB version to have some serious stability issues. Did you already try to re-install MATLAB?All the best,PierreHi,I also have the same problem. I installed the last version of XMapTools (2.6.3) with MatLab2017b and it shows the same errors (“Exception in thread “AWT-EventQueue-0″ java.lang.NullPointerException) and the screen doesn’t show the buttons.Thanks.Anthony.Hi Anthony,I would need to get a few additional details regarding the steps you were able to follow before this error appears. Can you run the setup program? Are you trying to run XMapTools from the mapping directory with the command “XMapTools”?Cheers,Pierre
